Diploma in Dance Instruction - Level 3

Diploma in Dance Education - Level 4

The DDI is aimed at anyone 17 years or older who wishes to begin training as a dance teacher and the DDE offers those 18 years or older, who have already achieved their Level 3, the opportunity to complete their training and become a fully qualified and accredited ISTD dance teacher. This is all achievable within a 2 to 2.5 year programme of study. Registration for the DDI & DDE gives learners the opportunity to register as a provisional teacher with the ISTD and enter pupils for exams.

This qualification is offered in the following genres:

Imperial Classical Ballet

Modern Theatre

Tap Dance

Both courses are offered on a  part-time basis

We recommend 1 year to complete the DDI and 1.5 to complete the DDE.

We are now taking applications for courses starting in Setember 2016.
